We have one other identifying characteristic besides sunshine here in sunny Southern Calif...EARTHQUAKES. We started rocking and rolling at 1AM last night. That sure woke me up, and rattled my brain a little too much to go back to sleep, so I decided to finish this card I started for the SC. If you really look close, it does follow the sketch challenge pretty closely. I also have real trash on this for the WT587 trash to treasures. The wood that the butterflies are perched on is from kitchen meat skewers. My best comparison these days for my comfort with cooking is that it is on a par with the relationship between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump....horrendous. Does anyone else get splinters when they make shish-ka-bob? Finally, the F4A329 was to show our weather. I thought of "sunny So. Cal," but I ended up with SUNFLOWERS instead of actual suns. I frequently laugh about my artistic process. In the kitchen I always use the quickest, easiest way possible - usually involving frozen boxed items and the microwave. Somehow this never carries over to crafts. I had some rectangular die cuts that I could have used for the center panel, but I ended up taking several steps to make this shaped panel. I also had to have that hand drawn and colored stripe down the sides that took too much time. I am happy with the final result, which is unfortunately not true for last night's dinner. TFL, Francie
