I went the shabby chic route today (extra points I believe)...It is hard to see but I do have text on my card..it's on the dp on the left side. I went over it with gesso mixed with some darker glimmer mist to sort of make it shabbier (is that a word?). I then added some embossed dots using versamark and some marcasite ep. The jar has tulle in it representing some sand. The seam binding was dyed using some distress ink and it was in my stash luckily so I could pull it out and use it today. And that's about it..Off to book club...last day with the kids before summer.

What a lovely card! I can't do this style for beans but love to look at it! Gorgeous image so nicely coloured. I will echo everyone else about the tulle - it looks terrific! Wonderful bow and stitching. Just super!

Love the jar - that is soo cool and I love how you left it so white against your super fun bg. You did get to shabby chic - love it! Hugz

The *perfect* amount of shabby! I love all the little details, especially the smart use of tulle. That seam binding...gah! It's delightful! Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us!
