The How:
Since the wax seal stamp is fairly large, I was able to ink it up with 2 shades of blue on 1 side (on a slight angle rather than targeting symmetry), then I inked up the rest of the stamp with 2 shades of green and a touch of brown. After the stamp was completely inked, I spritzed it with glimmer mist and stamped it onto my simple white card base.....instant happiness! (I'm crazy about how 'white' makes the colors pop, and the glimmer mist isolates the sparkle to the stamp lines!) Finally, I added my sentiment; you might be able to tell that most of the sentiment stamp is using grey ink but the word 'thanks' is inked in black. I opted out of using water or glimmer mist before stamping the sentiment (to avoid blurring), and just used my breath to refresh the ink before stamping as shown in the picture.
Hope you like my card - and that will join us this weekend as we play around with color using ANY style we want!
Huge hugs,
Audrie

Beautiful color choice, and they blended so well on the linen paper. Thanks for the tip about the paper. I did finally take a class, and learned so much. Need practice with the fine line pressure and the slant. Seeing your calligraphy is what sparked my interest, and it's been nothing but enjoyment. Thanks. Fav'd

Love how you combined all your colors with the ink for that image. A wonderful CAS card. Thanks for picking such a fun challenge. I have really enjoyed doing the Inspiration Challenges each week. You have made some great selections for sure.
