This card is my submission for SCS's Color Challenge, CC575, using the colors of Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride, and Blackberry Bliss. Karen Barber hosted the challenge, and I was uncertain how to use the colors together, but it turns out that she did a great job in her selection! Thank you, Karen!!
Besides the beautiful ODBD Layered Lacy Squares, a feature of this card is the floral image from SU Secret Garden. I tried a technique (don't know its name) that is typically done on a craft color of card stock. I wanted to try it on a dark card stock, and it works but not as well as using Crumb Cake.
I covered the image with VersaMark Ink, stamped it onto the blackberry bliss cutout, covered it with white embossing powder, and heat set it. Then I painted the petals of the floral image with SU Whisper White Craft Ink. After completely drying, I used a SU Blushing Bride Marker to color over the dry craft ink. It took several layers of ink. Next time I use the technique, it will be on Crumb Cake card stock.
I dyed a piece of SU Whisper White Organza Ribbon Mint Macaron (water and reinker) and attached it behind the Blushing Bride cutout and added a bow at the bottom.
Enjoy and TFL!

Gorgeous! Love the die-cut frame - it really makes the flower POP. Your flower is amazing. You achieved a wonderful effect. It's not what you were hoping for, but it is lovely. Next time, you could try bleach to take out the color on dark card-stock before applying a lighter ink. The white ink on Kraft will be very nice. Clever idea to dye the ribbon! I have that ribbon - must try it! I like the sentiment. Very nicely done. Into my favs. TFS

Great job with your technique whether on Crumb Cake or not. I love the Mint Macaron color and your ribbon is sooooo pretty dyed with it.
