We were meant to radiate the perfume of good cheer and happiness as much as a peony was made to radiate it's sweetness to every passerby. I don't know who said this, but it's a motto I try every day to live by.
Thanks Mrs Barber for the beautiful color challenge. I, of course, took a bit of artistic license on the Blackberry Bliss. I should have bought a pack of the in colors at my last opportunity.
I've been saving this beautiful pot of peonies for several months now. My dear arty neighbor leaves little bits on my porch that she thinks I might like. Oh, blissful peonies. Thanks, Kristi!
So my card is a college of gentle elements. The right side dry embossed with Tim Holtz Sizzix ep. I added Washi tape to the left side before I glued the photo onto the card. Added a bit of torn Tim Holtz Paper tape to soften the tape that isn't quite Blackberry Bliss. And the the beautiful sentiment was inked onto acetate packaging, made into a tag with Tim's Tag's and Labels's die cut. A tiny snippet of blackberryish ribbon and here we are.
Thanks so much for stopping by...I would enjoy your comments and hearing what is YOUR favorite flower. Oh the heavenly fragrance of peonies...

I love this beautiful card, the embossing, the beautiful DS paper (love the postmark!), lovely! I have to say that my favorite flower is a carnation. They're inexpensive and they last forever in a vase, plus the aroma always take me back to my high school dances, when the only flower my date could afford would be a wrist corsage of carnations. Wow! That was a long time ago. Thanks for the memory!
