Hello all, When I tell you this you are going to laugh! I decided to use my quilt square by DRS (because I think maybe it will be new to Cheryl) so I found a box of squares and circles (the exact same size as my stamp) that I bought about 15 or so years ago for scrapbooking...(I don't know, something about using them to put sticker letters on for titles on my Srapbook pages???) So I fixed my Misti up, even making a border out of cardboard inside the corner to keep the squares and stamp away from the very edge. So I got my stamp squared up, stamped all my squares then stamped my rounds (I thought I would use the rounds inside the squares). Went through all of that only to cut all of them into pieces...Hee! I'm such a knucklehead!
So anyway, my diamond quilt squares are hanging off the edge in front BUT I offset the fold so that it only hangs off the front not the whole card...I intend to send this to our miss CherylQuilts!! I didn't want it to be damaged. That is why the 3 photos...to show how the card looks closed, hanging over, and inside.
Oh, I just thought of something...I should put a tiny button on each white square!!! Yes, I will do that!
Thanks for looking!

LOL, it sure was a labour of love Robin, even if all the work with the MISTI wasn't totally necessary. Love those colours - I used to have an old, old Making Memories pad (one of the first I ever bought) in similar shades. And I bet, if you did add buttons, that they look just so cute!!

Oh, Robin, what a beautiful quilt card, and I got such a giggle out of your description! And you are not a knucklehead (no more than any of us - hehe!). I love the amazing design and how you used your MISTI to stamp up your quilt squares. What a beautiful color combination. But the best part is one of my favorite verses from Psalm 103 that I often sing. I so love the song! It's a gorgeous card, Robin!! I am so touched by your coming to the tea party for me! I am so encouraged and feel so loved. Thank you, precious friend! xoxo

You are one of the best card designers I know, Robin. This is just so well planned and executed. The diamond panels hanging off the edge look fantastic, and you chose such perfect colors. The "stitching" ties everything together perfectly.

Oh Robin, I am sure Cheryl loves this card. I am cracking up that you cut something up, you??? I have done that many times. Oh the stories us crafters have on how something did not work and we had to toss after a lot of work. Super cute quilt card.
