This week's teaparty is for Cheryl. She is one of the cheeriest, sweetest SCS members full of support for others. Time to support her!
I'm stuck on aprons today and yes, I do wear them! Apron pockets are marvelous, keeping important things right were they're needed. This one has thread and a needle, a thimble and scissors to cut that pesky thread. Cut the tag and scissors with Slice cartridge. Stamped, colored and fussy cut thread and thimble and adhered to sponged tag. Added thread tassel. Cut the card base and pp into an apron shape and added a panel with die cut trims for the pocket. Used a tracing wheel for the stitch marks and drew the thread in with a gel pen. Added button and ribbon to complete. TFL

Wow, neat idea for a great card---love your apron---I wear them also, just something about them and memories of cooking at home with mom. Love the colors used also.

Adorable! I wear aprons, too. I have quite a few, but none as cute as what you made. Such a creative idea for the theme of this challenge. Great card. TFS

So reminiscent of my grandmother's aprons - I still have one tucked in a drawer. This is wonderfully creative and so cute!

You can get stuck on aprons anytime as far as I am concerned because it allowed you to turn out two delightful cards! I love this one as well as the other.

Oh my, Carla, I just love pretty aprons and love the beautiful colors of this one - wow! And the papers you've used are a gorgeous pattern that are enhanced by the pretty borders, tassel, and tie around the neck. And you've fussy cut the needle and thread for the tag and added some much-needed scissors for a quilter. I can't tell you how many pairs of scissors I have - all for special techniques and tasks, and I love each one. Oh, Carla, I love this special apron and love that you wear them yourself too! How wonderful you must look in them too! I am so touched by your coming to the tea party for me and taking the time to make this sweet apron card! I am so encouraged and feel so loved. Thank you, sweet friend! xoxo
