I was inspired by this image on our inspiration site this week (thank you Audrie and Geni ) - but I went a bit brighter with the gold and green tones: http://totalwallcovering.com/p21022/...er-border.aspx
In my "playing around with backgrounds container", I had saved the green piece that I used to back the butterfly and for the flowers. I'm pretty sure I made it by "smooshing" blue and green distress inks on wc cs, and then spraying with gold color shine spray, and shimmer mist - So glad I kept the panel! Die cut the branch and top layer of the butterfly with a gold cs. Stamped the sentiment, matted with black and gold, and added some enamel dots. I love how it turned out!
Hi Maura! Great to see you in the Snippets Playground - Sarn can't comment so I hopped over to let you know she i did leave a comment underneath yours on the Snippets Playground - and also to let you know from me what a beauty this is! Wonderful colours and such a lovely design too. I do like the sentiment stamp you used, very elegant!
Wait, what!? The link on this week's Playground led me here, and I did think the card was a bit familiar when I commented. Off to see if I can find the right card and link it for you!
Hugs
Di xx
