TodayÂ’s Inspiration Challenge (IC532) is a page of 100 color combinations. Since theyÂ’re all together on the page, itÂ’s impossible to link to just one but here's a link to a picture of it. I chose #85 Classic Metallics.
Usually, I go with the bright, vibrant colors, but occasionally I like to work with neutral tonesÂ…sort of a palette cleanse thing. To make my card, I used part of an Ornate Corner Tile to make my central design. I put it in my Misti & stamped it 4 times on the corners w/ Memento. After coloring w/ Copics I over stamped it w/ Versafine. (if you want to see the BIG difference this makes, look at the picture on my blog
I did a little out of the box to remove some of the white background & added a black square layer. The design was stamped & colored again 4 times & I fussy cut those out to add under the squares. A greeting was added below on separate layers & I added a black/metallic gold Candi button in the center of my design.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors & Misti stamping example are on my blog: The Write Stuff

This is gorgeous Julie and really appeals to me. I seem to be in the neutral mode myself and chose a spicy neutral. Your card is so good looking!! I am going to check out your blog so I can see exactly how you did this. Great job!!

Wow Julie, your card is gorgeous. You did a fantastic job with the out of the box. I am amazed a the difference the over stamping made in your image. TFS.
