WT568 = plaid used on the card. I used a very simple plaid DP for the back panel.
I sketched the little scene and watercolored it. I have fond memories of visiting the beautiful west coast of Ireland. Many cottages like this were abandoned and just the walls remain.

You have brought back some delightful memories for me with this sketch and water colored cottage by the sea - so true-to-life and so much at "home" against the wonderful green plaid background layer!! Bravo!

I'm in awe, Sallie! So beautiful and realistic! With the touches of blue at the bottom of your artwork, I can almost hear the waves crashing on the rocks. The plaid bg is the perfect!

I have a little water coloured sketch from Wales hanging on my craft room wall that looks much like this. Gorgeous scene Sallie! I love your theme and the perfect mat you created for it. The distressed edges look fantastic too!

I love this, Sallie! So impressive that you sketched it rather than stamped it. What an artist you are! My family really connects to our Irish heritage, and I too traveled to Ireland and fell in love with it, so this card speaks to me!
