For this week's TLC challenge from Jenn, I used the Double Gate Fold tutorial. I'd already made a sample for Cathy's WTUI challenge, but seeing the TLC inspired me to pull out this stamp which I thought was one I would never use, and make an extra card for the WT. The full WT challenge details are here: WT567 Baby It's Cold Out There
I used Basic Grey papers, and followed the tutorial, although I did reverse the way I attached the cut-off triangles to the card base. I added a belly-band to hold it closed. Image coloured with Polychromos pencils. I masked it, sponged with Pumice Stone and stamped the snowflakes with Iced Spruce. I used Labels 10 to round the top of the image panel, and sponged the edges with a purple ink pad. As an afterthought I added the die-cut birch trees and birds, to make more use of the folds.

I love that line of stamps with the women at Unity! Also, the "wonderful world" quote is one of my favorites as well, so obviously, I love, love, love your card today! The birch trees and snowflakes add wintery beauty to this extraordinary double gate fold and your coloring is beautiful as well!
