These metallic colors and black made me think of Chinoiserie which was a popular decorative style in the 18th C. in Europe when trade was expanding with China and East Asia.

This reminded me of the 'A River Runs Through It' movie. I don't know if you meant this, Sallie, but I see a Pagoda at the end of the river! Yikes, such artistry~

Love the Asian feel of this, Sallie! You captured that to a T including the embossed background. Love the gold on black and the wonderful fiber you used with the coin! I always love the neat, clean way you frame your image too!
