The card is built on 120 lb white cardstock from Staples, front covered by red Bazill. I sponged Red Brick Distress through a stencil. The watercolor panel was dipped into puddles of Distress Ink on a craft sheet, then stencilled when dry. I stamped the bird with Ranger Archival ink then colored with Distress Markers and then die cut. Thanks for looking!

Hi, Jeanette, and welcome to SCS! Congratulations on your first upload, and what a fun card! I just love the Crazy Bird cards, and yours is adorable - especially with the cute sentiment! Normal doesn't exist, does it?
I know you'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here at SCS, and perhaps you might consider joining a challenge found on the Home Page. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work! Hugs!
P. S. If there are any questions you have, don't hesitate to send me a pm. I'm happy to help! And you might also want to go to the Forum, "Start Here" and get familiar with SCS and perhaps introduce yourself (by starting a new thread). Here's a direct link.

LOL you had me at "Define Normal". Jeanette everything about this is FABULOUS, what a fun way to start your gallery. Thanks for the detailed description, I love reading how a card evolved! The stencil over the Bazzil looks terrific. Love the effect. Your background and gorgeous bird are brilliant. Welcome to SCS, I hope we get to enjoy lots more of your work.

Thank you for your lovely welcome! I've looked at the Splitcoaster galleries for a couple of years, but was a bit shy to join, because so much of my stuff is different from other creations. I love the crazy birds, and I love doing the watercolour (I am Canadian, so you will see Canadian spelling a lot LOL) backgrounds, now that I sort of know what I'm doing!

This is outstanding! The additional detail of stenciling really adds to the interest, and a Crazy Bird never hurts, in my opinion! Love this!
