The background is a gelli print created by mixing vintage photo and peacock feather distress inks with white acrylic paint. Multiple prints were made on this then sponged lightly around the edges. Subtle stenciling was added to the background. The ornaments were cut from aluminum and inlaid on Sookwang type. Glitter ritz was burnished into the open spaces. Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous. I have never tried Gelli printing because I always thought it looked messy (my OCD kicking in) but using the soft colours has given it a totally different aspect! Great idea to use the aluminum for the die-cuts. Really gives it an extra dimension. Into my faves for sure!

This is a fabulous holiday gift all by itself. Your bg is amazing and the ornaments are beyond words gorgeous. The added crystal is the perfect finishing touch. This is so elegant. Your talent is endless Nancy and your creations deserve to be highlighted in a one woman show. You do all styles so incredibly well.
