This week over at CCEE Stampers, Maryann has asked us to create a card with "something down under". I used one of my Stampavie stamps, as part of my personal commitment to use 4 of them this month, with an opossum hanging "down under".
I stamped it on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils.
Then I took another piece of watercolour paper, worked out where I would position the frame, and stamped the tree from Thoughts and Prayers several times in Versafine Olympia Green.
Then I cut the frame in two pieces, using Spellbinders rectangle dies.
Then I added a watercolour wash to the remainder of the base, and embossed it with TE Weathered ef. I inlaid the image into the recess I had cut the frame out of, and added the frame popped up on foam. To finish I added some twine and a sentiment tag from LOTV, and added the whole thing to a white card base.

I have missed a lot in the gallery, and this adorable card was one of the ones I missed...until I found it in my mail box. I just love everything about it. The tree branch overlapping the main image is so pretty. I just love it.
