Hello,
I did the faux tile technique today using a score-it and then stamping. I have a mosaic/stainglass stamp but it is an oval and didn't really fit with today's sketch that I wanted to use. I know that stamp ink does not go down into grooves so I thought this would be my best option. I colored, gave the grout some color and then covered the whole thing with VersaMark and clear EP. I did two coats to get a really good covering. Like glazed tiles to my way of thinking!
The stamp is a very old PXS that I've had since the 90's. The sentiment is fairly new (to me). I took my inspiration from this photo here.
Thank you for looking!

Stunning card....but then, you don't create any other kind, Robin. Your tiles REALLY look like tiles.......like the hand-painted Italian variety that are custom-made.

Yummy, yummy! I LOVE that you scored the paper and glossed it over to accentuate the grout lines. Such a fabulous idea. I also love the sunshiney color the whole card embodies. Thanks so much for playing along in the challenge!
