This is for Ann's HYCCT Challenge to add some strength -- use one piece of beautiful paper and enhance & strengthen it. When I read the part about using one paper, I knew which one it had to be - the gorgeous page from the Painted Blooms pack. It was difficult to finally cut it. To keep as much of the design as I could, I found a large envelope in my stash, and cut the card base bigger than I typically do. Nevertheless, I still had to cut off one of the large roses to get the right size. First, the paper was layered on Rich Razzleberry CS. As the next step to add strength, I trimmed the rose that was cut-off and glued it to its stem. Then I girded the width with a pearl strip, some polka-dotted grosgrain ribbon, and a bow. I built up the corner with the reverse side of the paper and a corner punch. The panel was popped up on the card base. Some individual pearls were added as fortification. Lastly, I enhanced with a little Stickles for sparkle. Likewise, I enhanced the envelope with a scrap from the same paper pack and added a BCA ribbon & a pearl. All supplies were Stampin' Up, except the corner punch. This was a fun. I hope you are enjoying the challenges. Thanks for looking!
