I used a technique where you stamp in white pigment ink and then stamp again -slightly offset - with a color. Loved the effect with this lovely Penny Black stamp. Then I splattered- using a paintbrush - with diluted white acrylic paint and navy ink also.

So beautiful, Maura! I'm crazy for those colors! I tried the color offset over white and ended up with a bit of mushy color. I clearly did something wrong (probably used the wrong white ink) because this is beautiful!

Thanks for explaining the technique - not one I know. I'll have to try it. I love the way you used it - perfect against the kraft cs. Love the navy with the white!
