Cathy's challenge is all about color this week. We are to use our birthstone and one neutral color on our cards. Being a May girl...emerald it is, and gold for my neutral. Sketched the branches and ornament, using two water colored pencils, green and grey...watercolored . Added the gold for the holder and around the card. Using a brush to apply the color to stamp. Used the grey for shading. Thanks for looking.

Oh my goodness Linda your sketched ornament and branch is so beautifully done! My aunt has a ton of emerald jewelry and every time I look at it I just love the stunning look of it. Your card is spectacular!

HOw lovely, and all done by hand, from start to finish!! This beautiful Christmas card will not only be so appreciated, but ultimately framed (that's what I would do!). Happy Birthday in May.......me too!
