Barbara chose our lovely colors this week: tempting turquoise, pink pirouette, and blackberry bliss. Dessert is to have layers. I had to sub elegant eggplant since I don't have blackberry, and I found that these 3 colors work beautifully for a winter sky!
On a smaller panel of watercolor cs, I splattered masking fluid over the panel. When dry, I masked the moon, sponged the colors, (I sponged pink over almost the whole panel for a base coat), rubbed off the masking fluid, and then stamped the trees (once full strength, then 2nd generation). Added white gel pen for more snow on the trees and added score lines on the white card front - which is hard to see but adds a lot IRL. Matted sponged panel in black and then attached to card front. No dessert for me this week- I tried some different layers and they all seemed to draw away from the scene.
