Peggy is our hostess this week, and she has challenged us with the bold and bright combination of Cucumber Crush, Tangelo Twist and Rich Razzleberry. The dessert option is to add black and/or white to our cards.
Last May, Nancy Littrell posted this beautiful card for one of our Color Challenges. I chose it as my favorite for the week, immediately ordered the stencil she used, fooled around with the technique a bit, but never actually made a card with it . . .
. . . Until this week, when inspiration hit! To be honest, I was having a little difficulty coming up with a design for this week's colors. Then I learned that Nancy is one of our two new Guest Designers for the month of September, and I knew I wanted to CASE her card from last May. I used the same stencil, but different colors of ink, substituted a flower instead of the butterfly, and used a different sentiment.
