On the CardMaker Blog today I share a U Inspire Me creation. Check out the CM Blog for the inspiration picture behind these blue poppies. I do not believe that poppies come in blue shade. They tend to be more reds, oranges, pinks and even yellows. If they have a hybrid of blue out there I would seriously consider buying a few for my planters. Anyways, this was the inspiration for my poppies card today. Where else can you color a flower any color you desire? These precious poppies are stamped on white cardstock for the image panel, then stamped again on a separate piece of paper. All the flowers are colored using markers. The flowers on the other paper are cut out and dimensional adhesive is added to the backs so they stand out from the card panel. This is one of my favorite techniques the last few years as it adds just a hint of fun to creations. I stamped my sentiment in the bottom right corner of the card and added a few jewels and sparkles. Voila!
