This is my card for Lisa's MMTPT369 Cleopatra challenge.
What an amazing teapot. And thank goodness Cleopatra had a cat on her lap, even if it wasn't quite as aristocratic looking as I imagine Egyptian cats to be. I've already seen some quite amazing cards when I linked Lisa's in to the challenge thread this morning - but I think you know by now I don't really do digital and prefer to make do with what I have on hand.
So, as well as the grey cat, I took the stripes and the deep lapis blue and turquoise, and went all out with using gilding flakes for my gold.
Image stamped and coloured with pencils. Layered onto some embossed turquoise card.
Deep blue card has stripes of double-sided tape laid across it, to which I added gilding flakes and burnished them in.
Base is white embossed with the chevron ef, and for some Cleopatra (or Elizabethan!) glamour I added layered ribbon (love that velvet ric-rac) and some tiny gems.

How perfectly adorable is that image, and the background is amazing! I love the added ric-rac trim top and bottom, too! Sweet and fun with a bit of glam - what more could you ask for?
