This card is for today's colour challenge and what yummy colours they are, I think I'm in love. Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay. They work so well together.
This card is also for Sassy's VSN challeng;
"For this challenge you will make a shaker card with the theme of "Choose Happiness Daily". Something that when you or anyone else looks at it a smile and sense of happiness comes over them. Fill that shaker with confetti, sequins, etc. A "Happy" sentiment should be included."
I thought about this card a fare bit before I attempted it so I had it all planned.
I cut the circle burst first then took the fourth circles from both the large and small circle dies and cut a narrow circle from the Magic Mount which comes in a sheet. I then cut a piece of acetate to fit the back of this and then placed the magic mount ring around the edge of the cut out circle of the circle burst.
I sponged colour onto another piece of blending card and this became my background.
I placed some Doodle Bug Sugar Coating glitter into the center of the frame along with some small heart and star metal confetti.
I sandwiched all this together with the mounting foam and there you have it more or less.
Thanks for looking
Cheers
Marg

Love this shaker card, Marg! The colors look amazing on your background, and I love the ombré effect on the words. But mostly I love the shaker part. I really need to make one of those!

You certainly aced the VSN challenge, Marg - your card definitely brought a smile to my face! It is beautiful and I'm just taken with all the sparkle in the shaker and all the die cuts. Love this!
