I did a watercolour on my birdie today, and as much as I would like to take credit, I was looking at a bird on pinterest seeing where to shade etc. while doing this. I am hopeful it will sink in as I would like to do some watercolour. I added the sand to the bottom and while wet added the tumbled glass so as to not get blotches. Distressed the paper edges with my Zutter and added the flowers ribbon instead of cardstock to the top and underside. Thanks for looking ...

This is so adorable Kia! I LOVE that bird and he is looking at his friend...or dinner, very intently! I think they are friends though, don't you! So sweet!

Such a delightful little bird - and so nicely water coloured too. Love your little flower pennants in the corner - a nice unusual touch to finish up with.

Kia,
That little inquisitive bird is so cute! You did a great job on the watercolor! Like the little flowers as banners, adds such a great element for the bird!
PS. Great new photo avatar of yourself, you have up!!
