Cathy has created a beautiful sketch for us today with a large center square panel. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! I had seen these pretty cards on Pinterest and fell in love with the color combo and the idea of the sponged embossed frame set off by flowers. I stamped my sentiment with Baked Brown Sugar in the oval center. I had some new stamps and the new little flower punch and thought the tiny flower stamp would look pretty as a center of the punched flower. I added sponging along the edges. I thought these colors worked in the shabby chic direction so did a lot of distressing and sponging. For my floral swag, I diecut dp leaves and sponged them with Baked Brown Sugar and laid them over some linen thread. I added the flowers to this. My vertical strip is embossed and sponged as are the banners.

I love the shabby chic look of your card, and Gail, those colors ARE BEAUTIFUL together. Your flowers are so pretty and I really like the distressed edges.
