I have to laugh at myself. In my haste to get a card done last night, I apparently mis-read the instructions. I thought you had to use ALL of the InColors and I did get them all included in my design. I tried a technique that usually fails, but this time I got it to work. I sponged Pistachio onto the corner of the cardstock before clear embossing the fern. That allows you to sponge over the image with darker colors and the pale green shows through. And also, if I was paying more attention to the instructions I would have subbed in sequins instead of gems. But all in all I am happy with the final results.
I used a scalloped circle to create some cloudy texture, used the grid and dotted stamp to create the vintagey distressing.

Wow - I do love this. The colours are so bright and vibrant. This reminds me of an early morning sunrise - deep in the forest. I am so glad you managed to squeeze in all the colours in the challenge in this beautiful card.

I LOVE this!! I love your blended colors, and how it almost looks like there are clouds in your background. Also I love the sponged edges and the layered ink. Into my favorites....

Absolutely Gorgeous card!!! Love how you created your background, you did an amazing job! its nice how you usedf all the colors on your card, it makes for one beautifully designed card I'd say! Don't feel bad, I know I had sequins, but hardly ever use then, and do you think I could find them???!! NOPE! LOL oh well, I might have tossed them out, who knows. Anyways Beautiful job on todays challenge, and LOVE your card!

I'm so glad you didn't read so closely--this card is amazing with the ombre effect of all this week's colors. I love the technique you used, too, and the various elements to give interest and a distressed look. Beautiful!
