For Lee's Paperless Flowers VSN Mini challenge.
I had to take two photos - one in the sunshine so you can see how clear and transparent these are, and one more in the shade but showing more detail.
I used the Faux Glass Flowers tutorial, using old Spellbinders packaging and TH Tattered Florals die.
Thanks for the time extension, Lee! I might just have made it in an hour once I gave up on the idea of adding stems and leaves . But it meant I had time to add all the little seed beads. I'll use this when gift-wrapping a present to a friend who always wraps things so beautifully.
For the flowers, I followed the tutorial. I used acrylic paints to edge the flowers, not sure whether I'll do this again, it was very fiddly. I punched stamen centres from a tomato paste tube (no paper!), and added pearls in the centres.
I tied a bow and heated the ribbon to distress it. Rubbed in some gold and white luster rub-ons, stuck the flowers on, and then stitched on the gold seed beads.

Imagine someone sitting with their mouth opened, jaw dropped. That was me! This is sooo beautiful. The flowers are so dainty, and they just pop against that lovely 'foliage' ribbon. Stunning.
