Attached is my provocraft lunchbox tin lid template. I like a clean cut around the handles, which is why I use my McGill oval punch instead of cutting by hand. It works well for me, so I thought I would share!

Also interested in where to get the McGill punch and exactly what size it is. Have looked at Michael's, JoAnn, CreativeXpress, and somewhere else (I can't remember), and haven't found it yet. Please post the details! We're so appreciative of your template.

My punch is at least 12 yrs. old! It is a McGill Craftivity punch with a beige base. It is the largest size they sell, with the base being as big as the 2 1/4" square that I use for iris folding. The oval measures 2 1/8" long x 1 1/8" at the widest part. I believe that my downline just bought one at Michael's. I don't think the base is beige colored any more. If you print out the template you will have the correct size of the oval you are looking for. Hope this helps!

I did a web search and found this link: http://www.1stopsquare.com/emagination/emg_sgp.html
I cannot be sure that this is the same size oval as mine. I would contact them for dimensions before purchasing.
