I was so pleased to see that our Featured Stamper this week is Francie (f. schles). She's been one of my favorites for a long time, not only for the art she creates, but for her wonderful descriptions as well. She is so deserving of this honor! I knew exactly which card I wanted to CASE. I kept the row house theme and changed just about everything else.
I first cut scored and folded the card base, and did a partial die cut with a circle die to create a base for the sun. I created a mask of the houses using a Post-it note and created the top row of houses on the card base. I stamped a second row on scrap card stock and fussy cut them.
Everything was colored with Spectrum Noir pens and clear glaze added to the windows. The sun got a light layer of Wink of Stella. The sky was too plain, so I used a blender pen to create clouds. I added white Prismacolor pencil and outlines them with a black pen.
Francie, this was a little rushed, but I wanted to create in card in your honor. I hope you like it!

I think I would LOVE to live in this neighborhood - looks like a really fun place to live in those brightly colored homes! What a great take on Francie's card. A very cool take on doing your sun and I thought your stamped the clouds in too! Hard to believe this was a "rush" card with all the work you put into it! Positively DELISH!
