Congratulations to this week's Featured Stamper, Mary J (maryj6. Mary has a beautiful gallery with lots of variety in her style, and she sure can color! I started coloring this cute little bear on Sunday but got busy this week and did not finish it. So when I saw this week's Sketch Challenge, I took advantage of that. The bear is the same Mary's "James," but my bear is working on his laptop - ah, how cute! I chose this card because I loved her little teddy bear James from Lili of the Valley. I changed the layout and have my bear in a square frame, and added a sentiment to the right rather than centered. After coloring my "chocolate" teddy (teddies come in a range of yummy colors!), I chose my DP and then kept to the sketch adding some perle cotton and a button. I added a small scalloped border and did some paper-piercing. This card will be headed to New Jersey to thank our youngest son for visiting us last week. We had a wonderful time, and he is very techie (like his dad) and will hopefully get a chuckle out of James. (And our son has also seen my collection of teddy bears - quite the family I have here!)
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it. Have a great week! For more, visit my blog.

Oh, this card is so sweet. Love the image and your fabulous coloring! I'm a big fan of plaids on baby cards, so this one stole my heart! It's just perfect and I've faved it for a future case!

Cheryl, how did I miss this adorable card. What a cutie on his computer. Your techie son is sure to love it. I'm glad you and your hubby had a good visit with him.

Hi sweet Cheryl. I had to swing by and take a look at your gallery. I am so in love with this cute. My 7 yrs old daughter is looking at it right now with me and she exclaimed "OH that's a cute bear!" I got to get this stamp for myself. I just love teddy bears, especially fluffy adorable one like this! Beautiful layout and gorgeous coloring as always Cheryl!
Oh note of how to navigate here on Spitcoast Stampers...HELP! I am so lost! It seem like only uploading to a gallery is all I am able to master right now. How do I get email notification of all the challenges on a weekly basis or do I need to just come to the site and login to view?
Second, I notice part of my profile said I'm a "Cardstock Collector." How do I delete that?
Finally, upload to a challenge, can I put wording "more detail on my blog please come over for a closer look?" or is redirecting back to my blog is a no-no policy?
Thanks Cheryl. Look forward to your next blog on your blog!
Hugs,
Christina of Memories Crafter

Technically this shouldn't be in favs for this week, but I work on the theory, that if Christina was a a Splitcoastie back then, it would have been included. So here we go.....Congratulations! In the General Stamping forum, you're in the FAVORITES for the week ending July 12, 2015. See post #110
