I actually started this card on Tuesday but have only got back to finishing it this afternoon. Love the colours Karen chose this week and I opted for dessert to make a shabby chic card. I am also including this in today's WTUI Challenge - inside of a card. I always decorate the inside of my cards, usually though as simply as I have done this one.
I distressed and sponged most edges of the card. Downloaded this vintage postcard image from the computer - I cannot remember which site now! Added the seam binding ribbon, half pearls and antique brad (with the back cut off). You may not be able to tell, but I printed out another copy of the postcard, cut out the pink daisy only, and raised it using dimensionals over the daisy on the postcard.
TFL!

Beautiful shabby chic, Sue!
I was passing a coffee shop or something like it this morning, and just inside the window was a banquette with a back that was all squares - it reminded me straight away of the card you sent me .

Sue, I love this card so much! The challenge colors in this lovely vintage postcard are as beautiful as the sweetly flirtatious young woman. It's a lovely pictorial download - which I ask myself why I don't do more of. There so many lovely free images out there. You did a wonderful job with both these challenges.
