This is for Linda's fun Ways to Use It challenge - decorate the inside of a card.
I have a box full of inky backgrounds that are a bit weird and their use it not always obvious. Sometimes it is just a matter of time, waiting for a background to find its home.
Linda's challenge was the perfect inspiration to combine a die cut front with a werido arty background. I made a pocket on the very back to hold a message.
I made this by cutting black cardstock, scoring and folding to make a 5" x 5" card. I positioned the die on the front panel, diecut, then put it back in place.
After taping the diecut back in place, I cut the die out once more from a 5" square piece of black cardstock, I then carefully cut the patterned section out leaving the 1/4" circle frame in tact. I then adhered it to the inside of the front panel.
Thank you for looking.

This is gorgeous, Susie! Love the open silhouette in front of your bg. I have tons of bgs that are waiting to be used. I picture them like a long line of minions with the head one saying "I'm up!".

You have never done a background I didn't just love! This one is no exception! It's not only the color but the patterns and textures you add to them that make them so beautiful. That Lavinia die is fantastic, Susie!
WOW!! Susie, this is just outstanding! LOVE the die cut opening and fabulous inside! You've given me an idea for using some of my smooshed watercolor BG's. Amazing card!

Aren't you the smart saver of "backgrounds-gone-awry" Boy, did this one come in handy for the challenge today!! I love this die with the fairies, and with it silhouetted in black against your fabulous BG, it has the look of a secretive fairy gathering, telling stories! (Sorry, but I have an active imagination!) Great card, Susie!
