One last card today for Karen's Color Challenge: "WILD PIROUETTES ON THE SAHARA"....
Don't you just love little notecards? I do! Little sweet offerings from heart and hand. Wouldn't it be nice to make up 4 little cards and tie them with a beautiful pink ribbon for a neighbor or friend?
This last card for today is a little closer to the color palette for this weeks Color Challenge of Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, and Sahara Sand than my first one called, Friendship.
I used a builder stamp set from Wplus9 and colored the middle stamp with Ranger's Distress Marker, Worn Lipstick, then spritzed it with water before stamping. The result is a very loose image of the peony. The leaves are stamped with Brushed Sage, and the area around the bouquet is a little wash using, Scattered Straw. When you're doing this type of watercolor, let it dry and then go back and add a little more color for depth or detail. I get so much satisfaction and relaxation from this type of coloring.
I've been thinking of you, and hope you like this card too.
Hugs to all my SCS friends!
