Wonderful challenge! I've been doing a lot of water color lately..sort of returning to my roots. The other day I made a bunch of water color backgrounds. Some using water color paints & some using distress inks. This one was made w/ a series of washes using w/c tube paints.
The frame was die cut first, edged w/ a black marker, then the tulips & leaves were cut out of the leftover pieces. A white background was cut to fit inside the frame using a pierced rectangle die then the flowers were arranged on top. The Bloom die was cut out of black 3 times and stacked together. I added just the flower centers cut out of a little pink area from the watercolor background.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, your cards are always out of this world sensational. The watercolor bg that you cut everything out of is gorgeous. Your card design looks great, and I love the colors. So beautiful. Into my favs.

Wow Julie, love your flowers and they also give me hope for some "crud" bg's I was working on (instead of trashing them) cutting them up as whatever is such a great idea! The parts are better than the whole, in my case anyway! This is splendid!
