For this week's MMTPT350 That's What Friends Are For challenge.
I have quite a lot of bunny stamps, so it was hard to choose which one to use; in fact, a stamped and fussy-cut Poppy from Purple Onion is languishing on my desk, having been usurped by these little sun-struck bunnies. Since Ky is one of the MIX-ability challenge hostesses, I decided to go down the mixed media route with my card for her.
Stamped the wildflowers with Versamark, embossed with clear and then sponged in the cloudy sky and the grassy foreground. I stamped some long grasses (and embossed them, to set the ink over the previous embossing. Then I decided to add the die-cut grasses to help my bunnies stand out, and I also smudged some gesso in to soften the colours in the meadow. I sponged the sun rays in, then added my musical bunnies and then thought it would be fun to add music in to the sun's rays, so I had to re-position the stencil carefully and stamp in the music. Sentiment from Serendipity (NOT how I was imagining using it), and stitched twice around the edge with black thread. The bunnies have tiny pink circles stuck to the back for their eyes, and gel pen/Liquid Pearl accents. The front two are popped up on foam.

Wow... I just keep looking at all the great details in this card. I love those bunnies and the music in the rays of the sun. I am always jealous of people that can stitch of cards... this stitched border looks great.
