This is my card for the FS427 challenge. Featured stamper this week is Sue aka Gregzgurl. Congratulations, Sue - you have an awesome gallery! I hope you enjoy your time in the spotlight! I chose this card to CASE. I kept the theme and general layout, but added a frame and the balloon. I used dimensional stamping instead of stamping flat on the image.
I saw this technique on a YouTube by Jennifer McGuire, and thought it would be fun to try. I cut and scored a card base and stamped the sentiment on the card front and on a piece of scrap printer paper. I cut strips of scrap cardstock for the candles and used temporary adhesive to attach them over the image on the printer paper. This went back into the MISTI so the image could be stamped on the candles. I added foam tape to the back of the candles and aligned them with the stamping on the card front.
The flames were cut once from orange and once from yellow glitter craft foam. I used Multi medium to adhere the yellow parts before piecing the orange into them. I drew in the wicks and coated the flames with Glossy Accents.
The frame is adhered directly to the card front and the balloon is attached with foam tape. The embroidery floss string is tacked down in places with Multi Medium. I painted over the balloon and candles with wink of Stella, and added a highlight to the balloon with Glazon.
As always, thanks for looking!

What a cool way to CASE our FS Sue this week - love how you did these candles stamping over them with your MISTI to get the greeting on top of them - the flames are awesome too!!
