Well...I'm definitely a tortoise when it comes to card making. Sometimes I'm accidentally a hare, but that hardly ever happens. One of the reasons is takes me so long, is that I have to set up shop every time I make something & go get (or find) things I need. I don't have a room of my own :( Ok, so not counting set up, this took me a little over 3 hours. Hey, don't groan! That's actually not bad for me. I had to find the right color of ink (not easy when you have a jillion) and I fussy cut the basket.
My tip is how I colored the basket..with Copics & I heat embossed it. Since Copics usually "melt" the embossing I had to do it in two steps. Stamped the basket first with the Distress ink, color it w/ Copics then lined it up & heat embossed on top. I took a couple of pictures showing the process & how it looks before & after to better explain. They are on my blog: The Write Stuff
Thanks so much for looking!
