This is for IC483 and the Great Big Canvas is our inspiration site today. I was inspired by many of the gorgeous Rose Canvas Art.
I tried my hand at creating a watercolor rose arrangement using the Coming Up Roses set. I kept making mistakes and was tempted to toss this in the trash but just refused to give up. My roses don't have much definition but I still like the overall look. Let me just say that I know my watercolor flowers don't come anywhere near the lovely work of our dear Sallie (aka hobbydujour) and Watercolor Queen Extraordinaire . I think she might give me a C+ grade for trying.
You can see more photos and details of all my mistakes ....LOL..on my blog post at Kittie Kraft

Kittie, I loved your watercolored roses. Illusion is 90% and I give you an A (she smiles). I love the clear embossing powder you added - see, I would have never thought to do that. I'm always learning from you, Kittie.

Kittie, you are too hard on yourself. Your roses card is lovely! Personally, I think watercolor is one of the hardest mediums. You are so kind to mention my name. Thank you,
I think your card turned out great! I'm so glad you didn't scrap this project. The finished card reminds me of an Impressionism style painting with vivid colors. Beautiful!
