Our free-for-all challenge (F4A262) is to use kraft. I wanted to try the whitewash technique (embossing, filling in the image with white craft ink and then coloring on top of that with markers and blender pen), but I used a hybrid white ink, and it didn't work as well. I still like the results but I didn't get that "milky" look that I expected. I used distress markers to color in the flowers and then added just a bit of water with a paintbrush. Then I added stickles just because I love bling!! Embossed the sentiment also, and this time I popped up the panel with foam. Worked great. Also linking to our spring challenge (CAS313).

I think it turned out perfectly (even though not the look you wanted). I've almost finished my card for the Kraft challenge and I couldn't remember what you're supposed to use for the white underpainting so I used watered down white acrylic paint - did not work at all! So glad you reminded me that it should be white craft ink. I'll try that next time. Meanwhile I love your card and the beautiful vibrant colours and the perfectly matched ribbon.

What a beautiful card -- I love the way you colored those flowers - they really pop and makes this card so pretty!
