Dina's challenge for this week's mixabilty was my starting point even though my project looks nothing like her inspiration. I took a paper bag that held my breakfast from McDonalds. I crinkled it up, well more like wadded it up into a little ball. Then I glued it down to a piece of cardstock. I purposely left wrinkles and didn't smooth it out because I wanted texture. I then sprayed it with gold shimmer paint. I added copper inka gold metallic rub. I stamped the queen Anne's lace. I stamped the word JOY using alphabet stamps. I then stamped the dragonflies and then stamped the Unity classified newsprint. I filled in empty areas with the itty bitty background stamp. I took my bamboo skewer dipped it in white acrylic paint and added dots to the Queen Anne's lace. For my die cut I used a gear die. I cut it out of a drink holder from Sonic. (Doesn't everyone get their crafting supplies from fast food restaurants?) I inked the gears with color box saddle ink. Then I added touches of copper inka gold metallic rub. Then I stamped the tops with the Unity classified newsprint. I matted the card with black cardstock. Thanks for looking and my card and reading my long description.

MariLyn, this is spectacular! I loved your description and looked at the card after each step you described. I was like seeing you work in my head - and I love that I can ATTEMPT to do the same effect. Straight into favorites!
