This card is for two challenges. The first, is for the teaparty for Faith's hubby, Harry. He is having surgery and could use some uplifting. The second challenge is for the color challenge. Mary gave out some gorgeous colors this week!!! She made it a baked pistachio honey crisp on the coast. I made my background by streaking distress inks onto my large clear acrylic block. The colors overlap. I used (from top to bottom) barn door, mustard seed, peeled paint with peacock feathers right on top and then scattered straw for the sand. Then I sprayed the acrylic block with water and applied my white cardstock.
I was going to add a sentiment, but I didn't want to cover up the pretty colors, so I will just have to put it all on the inside
The AI characters were stamped and fussy cut and then added to the background. Thanks so much for taking a peek!

Your bg is wonderful, and so is the image. I think, however, he will soon be sorry he forgot the sun block LOL! The AI characters are always good for a giggle!
