I'm trying to be brave this year and do things outside of my comfort zone. REALLY high on the list is trying new techniques (yes, I'm a-skeered...), so I thought that today's challenge was a good place to start. It WAS a challenge (easy as I know it should have been). I threw away several earlier attempts, and I didn't like the entire piece of stamped paper I ended up using, so I cut an oval and mounted it on a panel embossed with the same folder that I used for the stamping. I kept the rest of the card simple so the hearts could take center stage...

Perfect save you did by die cutting a piece you liked. Actually it worked out wonderfully this way, I like the coloured piece mounted on the white embossed piece.

Beautifully done! I love that you framed the stamped piece with a background using the same ef - perfect idea and a beautiful card!
