A friend and former coworker is retiring; this is the card I made to celebrate the occasion.
Everything but the sky colored was with Spectrum Noir markers. At that point I was afraid to mess it up trying to color the sky, so I applied some very pale blues, grays and pink pastels with my fingers and then erased out a few clouds - which you can't see in the photo. I added Wink of Stella to the lake and Gelly Roll pen to the waves. The bobbers and the water in the pail got a coat of Glossy Accents. I named the boat with Dazzles stickers - seems appropriate for a retirement card!
The image was diecut with SSS In Stitches and popped up on the matting layer. This is adhered directly to the card base.
I'm certainly not the greatest colorist out there, but I'm really pleased with this!
As always, thanks for looking!
