This is for Cathy's fun Ways to Use It Challenge - to use something new. This is my first card of 2015.
Father Christmas brought me some terrific Unity stamps and a few more Izinks!! I love the beautiful pearly finish of Izinks, but I find they don't spread very far so I use them as a top coat only.
This background was first done by smacking several pink distress inks onto a sheet of foil, spritz on a LOT of water, then drag the cardstock through the puddle, spritz on more water and continue to move the cardstock around until well covered.
Using the same sheet of foil (and working quickly while your cardstock is still rather wet), apply 3 drops of Izink, spritz each drop with few good squirts of water and swish the cardstock around until you get good coverage.
I always use an A4 sheet, so I have enough for 3 tall cards. Once dry, cut to size, spritz with a bit more water, blot with a tissue then stencil and stamp. Fussy cut feathers and stamp on sentiment.
Happy New Year ladies and thank you for looking.

I love the colors and you did a great job with the wrinkle free distress technique and the other techniques you used. The feathers and that sentiment are fabulous too. A totally positive and affirming card- the best kind. Hugz and Happy New Year!!!
