This is for my wonderful friend Sue's birthday. She always makes my birthday special and she has generously shared dies with me on many an occasion. I wanted her card to be very special.
I started by cutting a rounded edge square and then die cutting the Spellbinder corners into each side of it. I used dimensionals to attach the blue pearl paper layer and then attached that to my embossed (Embossalicious) layer. I didn't have a large enough piece of the ivory pearl card stock to create a card base, so I cut one side of a 6 inch ivory panel 3/4 of an inch longer, scored a fold and glued that to the back of this creating the card base.(I did use another piece to cover that) I picked up this set of Spellbinder flowers (there are 3 sizes) at the convention for $5 and I cut 4 of each flower. I used the bone folder to form the petals and a stylus to give them more dimension. I used a half pearl and my favorite Star Dust Stickles in the center of each flower.
It took SEVERAL days to try and figure out what I wanted to make and then a day and a half to actually make the card. I had a lot of fun making it and blue is Sue's favorite color so naturally that had to be the accent.
Thank you SO much for stopping by to take a look! It is always appreciated.

What an amazing card! The way you combine die cuts and colour is so fantastic! You have such a deft hand at the flowers. I would add all that everyone else has said and more if I had the words. Lovely, lovely card! I really appreciate the description you provide and the photograph that shows your detail so well too. TFS

Oh my goodness gracious me....Peggy this is one of the most strikingly beautiful cards I have ever seen. I am in awe of your talent and your commitment to create something special for someone special to you. I almost broke Geoff's nose when I shoved my iPad in his face and squealed, "look what Peggy made". xx

Absolutely stunning and such a labour of love! These diecuts and the embossing are so beautiful, but the real WOW for me.......those flowers. They are over the top gorgeous and such a soft colour of blue too. Of course the pearls are just the perfect way to top it all off. Thank you sharing this beautiful work of art.

Peggy, you succeed in creating something very special for your friend Sue! Gorgeous! That is the softest, prettiest blue. Your die cuts are gorgeous and the embossing is beautiful. But ...... those flowers are A.M.A.Z.I..N.G!
