hi there,
Here is my card for the IC today from the Resurrect Antiques site. Totally up my alley as I own many antiques and love the history they all hold. Re-purposing old is the way to go and when I saw this burlap ribbon I was off to stamp: http://www.myresaleweb.com/stores/bk...ex.php?id=6615
There was a piece of burlap sitting on my desk for most likely close to 2 yrs. My desk is a mess BTW, so not surprising it is there waiting for me to do something with it. Well today was the day!!
I had a piece of CS that I had rubbed off the tip of my Goosebumps bottle. (For those of you that don't know what Goosebumps is, it is a meduim that acts like a glue resist.) I grabbed the burlap, adhered it to my acrylic block, inked it up and stamped away using Distress inks. I then added the bushes and the sentiment.
I think this would make a good masculine card don't you?
thanks for looking,

So clever!! I would have never thought to stamp with burlap ... it looks AMAZING! Love the visual texture it creates for your background. LOVE the silhouette stamp of bushes. Beautiful card Karen!
