Cathy has given us a fun Ways to Use it Challenge - Make it with Metal.
This is another one of those cards that took forever to get make. I made this using a special self adhesive silver roofing tape - 50 yards 3" wide all for $18....sounds good so far..unfortunately it has a special coating on it and nothing, absolutely nothing, will stay on it. After embossing the foil I tried to colour it with alcohol refiller, alcohol blending fluid, copics. Everything I tried just formed little wet beads, using a baby wipe I cleaned everything off. Next cab of the rank was StazOn ink followed by distress inks, distress refills, black acrylic paint. I even tried shoe polish.
In desperation I lightly sandpapered the foil then painted more black acrylic on, gently wiped it off so that the paint would at least stay around rivet areas. I dabbed on a little copper coloured Brilliance ink. I coloured the twine by pulling it through the dirty inky baby wipes.
I have tried using my heat gun on this, but so far nothing is holding the ink/paint in place. I am going to give this another try using my trusty old kitchen alfoil. At least you can see the concept. The image is stamped on acetate, it is held in place by a couple of spots of glue under the car.
Thanks for looking ladies.

I love all the great ideas you are giving with this EF. I have it and have not used it. I hope something holds to this one for you. Maybe some versalark and heat emboss? Still it is stunning!

Wow, Susie, this is amazing - what a wonderful masculine card - you would want to give this to a man who appreciates the time and work that has gone into making this!!! LOVE THIS!!!!
