I hope my little metal brad holding the clock hands counts! Brads are kind of my go to for metal.
The clock image was stamped directly onto the dp & die cut with the coordinating Matting Circles dies. Since the greeting was stamped onto textured card stock, I black embossed it to make sure it would show up. Some buttons were also die cut out of the yellow & garden paper along w/ a few of the "sun rays" from the die set. I had a strip of the garden paper left after trimming it, so I used a larger circle die to cut a semi circle around the clock & added it on top of the yellow.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, after seeing your spectacular card I don't think anyone would have noticed if you didn't use any metal at all! This is something else! Stamping on texture is difficult but yours came out crystal clear. The overall design and papers are just gorgeous! WOW!

This chimes with me as I've been busy looking at watches for DH for Christmas this year, LOL. I particularly love the angled strips you've used with the buttons - they make me think of the way light reflects on a watch crystal.

So many fine details to look at on this card and a lovely selection of colours. I particularly like the little buttons and twine. Beautifully shaded design paper too.
