This is for Cathy's WTUI challenge, to use both heat embossing and dry embossing. You can find her challenge HERE], and also for a seasonal challenge from Lynn and Liz to the CCEE Stampers to use rich autumn colours.
I made a gorgeous rich autumn background and then my wreath was totally lost against it! Oh well, it won't go to waste.
I stamped the woodgrain with Old Paper, and then roughly embossed round the edges to create a loose frame, which I then swiped with Weathered Wood.
The wreath itself was cut from kraft. I cut the leaves from watercolour paper and coloured them with distress inks, then embossed them all with clear EP. To finish off I added a little punched tag with a hand-written sentiment

Your card is lovely, Sabrina...and as many of your cards, shows your imaginative use of various techniques to create something special. Love how you created your "frame" and your leaves are glorious....just like one might find clustered in the yard.
